Dedalus, father of Icarus, a legendary artist of ancient mythology once again opens his wings just before the new millennium. Could it be the re-incarnation of this mythical person? Lets leave our imagination free and find out the answer in a more ‘realistic form’.

In ancient Crete, the imprisoned craftsman Dedalus thought of his spiritual and physical freedom more than anything else. His knowledge appliance in sculpture, handcraft as well as in many things that require high aesthetics and moreover advanced knowledge in all sort of materials and their properties, would be the key to open widely the doors of freedom.

That included much more than just perceiving knowledge of his great capabilities, the faith in the power of art and technique. Dedalus name developed later on in the verb of ‘Dedalo’, which means producing fine art.

Today dedalus lives and creates again. His free spirit is expressed in the form of jewelry making but also from the other creations of his modern re- incarnation, Petros Vlachos.

The jewelry workshop, which is managed by the Mr Vlacho opens his wings creating pieces of art which certainly outstand in aesthetic design.

His fine approach of design makes the jewelry marks the difference between other jewelry.
